Warrior Esquire - Composite Stick

  • Sale
  • Regular price $160.00

Features:

  • Linear Taper Flex Profile (Mid Kick) - Mid flex point for a long flex profile means a larger area of the stick takes swing force and returns energy in a fluid smooth shot, this is ideal for heavy slap shots and flowing wrist shots
  • Fused One-Piece Construction Technology - Stick is molded in two separate processes where the shaft and blade are fused by heat and pressure in the lower area of the stick causing a consistent flex and increased torsional strength
  • Composite Deluxe - High-pressure two-way shaft molding ensures solid core construction while engineered layered composite construction provides the best flex in a durable package
  • Soft-Core X Blade - Durable core uses a 20% lighter polymer making the blade lighter, leading to improved puck feel/response to the shaft and hands as well as a better stick balance
  • Improved balance - lighter package
  • Full compression molded
  • Clear Coating - A clear hard-shell finish that does not grip on gloves and provides the most movement up and down the shaft for lightning-quick stick handling and hand transition

Curve: Fedorov/Savard
Description: This is a very slight curve, the smallest offered by Warrior. It is slightly open, with a round toe.
Advantages: This curve is excellent for passing. It is also good for deflections (tipping) and backhand shots due to its large flat area. The slight curve also makes it good for catching and giving passes on the backhand.
Drawbacks: This curve makes it more difficult to raise the puck from in close near the net. Most players also prefer a bigger curve than this for shooting. In addition, controlling the puck is harder with the Fedorov because it really does not cup the puck at all.
Similar Curves:
Easton Zetterberg, Bauer PM9, Reebok Madano/Hamrlik, CCM Steen, Mission Boyes/Elias, TPS Tkackuk, Sherwood Bouchard (underlined curves are most similar)
Bottom Line: This is the playmakers' curve. If passing and feeding is your game, go with the PM9.
